I thought the maid told on us, and the manager asked us if we were filming porn? I remember thinking that he wanted in if we were, but that's probably wrong too.

you haven't seen any other Karaoke movies? Seriously? Rent "Across the Universe". It's a beetles karaoke. I hate the beetles but, i dunno, this movie was good.

Other than that, I'm pretty sure your obsession with ABBA ranks no where NEAR Dad's. When we would drive to Grandpa's from Edinburg in Dad's New Yorker, we had only the 8 track player.
And guess what dad had a stock pile of. ABBA the whole way. It was annoying.

Yea, El Fenix…um, their Pralines are good!
But the company more than compensates. Color me there, and if any out of town Conroe-survivors need crash space, there's plenty here.

Idid the same thing. My flyfishing blog gained an additional 1000+ a day, rather than the usual 200-300. I did the same thing with Montauk Sea Creature. Wish my blog(swittersb weblog)actually garnered the many hits…oh well, kind of an empty thrill i suppose..take care.

Oh, yes… made with real butter and Sara Lee white bread. You can hear it sizzling now! You have your choice of a big glass of milk or a big glass of real, brewed sweet tea - iced of course.

Cooked in a cast-iron skillet… the cheese melts and some of it oozes out - where it comes in contact with the skillet and gets toasted, too.

For dessert, how about a nice helping of home-made peach ice cream served in a styrofoam cup? Great to have on a hot, hot day…

Ah, yes… parking karma. I have great parking karma, too, and you're right - it is quite amazing. Of course, it can be quite satisfying, too, especially when everyone arrives at the restaurant, sits down, and the first question asked is, "So, where did you park?"

It's hard not to feel a little smug when you point out the window and say, "Right there."

Not to get too philosophical about blaming the universe for things, but I'm reminded of a scene from "Babylon 5" when a similar question was posed. To paraphrase: "What if… what if all the bad things happen to us because we *do* deserve it?"

So, enjoy the good things as something serendipitous, and look at the bad things as opportunities to make the world a better place. After that, go make grilled cheese sandwich and have a bowl of cream of tomato soup.
