Skinput

Sweet! These folks are exploring ways to use your skin as input for computer devices. One version includes a Pico projector that allows you to play video games on your hand.

The video shows a guy poking at his arm and hands and fingers to play Tetris, to control his iPod, and to navigate through a series of menus on his arm. This is similar to that thing we saw a while back from MIT that projected info about the person standing in front of you onto said person so you could remember important facts about them.

Yes, the days of the cyborgs are nearly upon us!

This guy came into my store the other day and told me in fifteen years, we're all going to have USB ports in our foreheads. Apparently, I was more concerned about the potential for headaches than he was.

Wahoo! I hope they're the sexy cyborgs and not the mean ones like in Doctor Who.

Oh wait, I was thinking of androids. There're no sexy cyborgs. Cyborgs are almost certainly always evil.
