Just how do we hold Obama's feet to the fire? we voted for him, now how do we make him uphold his promises.
Torture is wrong, and it pisses me off. Why can't we stop?

"So it's ok to waterboard a guy over 80 times, but God forbid the guy who could understand what that prick was saying…
…has a boyfriend."
Bill Clinton's "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy must end. Obama said it makes no sense. He's squirling out and doing nothing to end it. How do we put enough pressure on him to make it happen?

No matter how much we like President Obama, we mustn't forget that he is still a *politician*. You can't govern on campaign promises or good intentions. At this point, I would probably say that he's walking a fine line trying to keep two powerful and opposing sides in check.
However, I really don't see where that 'fine line' really is. He's got the support of the American people (approval rating in the high 60's), majorities in both houses of Congress, and growing respect in the international community. So, what's stopping him?
I'm not sure what we can do either. One option is to write your representative(s). I wrote one of mine not too long ago, and though I didn't get a personal response, he did vote the way I wanted. Be vocal.
