You've seen editorial cartoons before, and you've probably seen Matt Davies' specific cartoons before. He has a great blog where he posts a new cartoon every day and usually includes some commentary that describes what he was thinking and/or doing when he created it.

I recommend that you take a look at his blog and subscribe to his rss feed. It's good for a daily chuckle, and even a little depressing when you start to think about it.
As a related aside, today on the radio, a caller called Sarah Palin "The Manchurian Candidate". Seems kind of scary, don't you think?

Heh…. you gotta love these things. Editorial cartoons, satire, etc., have been around long before the printing press. What would the world be like without them?
