Today on my way home from work, I saw a guy in a coffee shop using his laptop. On his laptop was a bumper sticker that said "Allah is my co-pilot". I think that's the first one of those I've ever seen.
So as I continued on my walk, I started to contemplate the other examples of that slogan that I've seen: "God is my co-pilot;" "Dog is my co-pilot;" and even "FSM is my co-pilot" (this is Portland, after all).
I began to ponder the whole arrogance of saying a supreme being is my co-pilot at all. If one does believe that God, or Allah, or even the Flying Spaghetti Monster is the deity in charge, then isn't it arrogant to say you're helping? Or even more arrogant to say he/she/it is your co-pilot – putting you on equal footing as the deity?
Shouldn't the deity be the pilot?
I'm just sayin'. Oh, and by the way, when you start typing about deities, be sure not to reverse the i and the e. "Diety" doesn't mean anything and is hard to pronounce. I'll try to think of another post later that gets all diet-y on us.

Huh? G-d isn't diety?
Just when we thought there was hope for dietkind.
…but by the way, you're absolutely spot on about the presumption of those who claim the Eternal's identity. You got that exactly right. Nice job.
