who was in the movie? I'm not telling. I used to think he was hot, now I'm certain he is not. I wonder what I was thinking. sheesh.
The song just kicked in on my iTunes and I was immediately taken back 25 years to the place and time.
I was working with Todd and Maria. The film in question seemed like an anthem for us. I wasn't ready to come out to everyone yet, I was just out of high school and times were different then.
The three of us would go to the happening night spots in Dallas after work. We did things like going to the park and playing on the swings.
We made movie popcorn for the people ordering from our theatre chain and put it in 5 gallon tin cans for shipping. We watched movies late at night, we climbed in the rafters 150 feet over the theatre seats. We showed special midnight movies for a guy who brought Cinema Hong Kong movies every week. We were young and fearless.
All that comes up when I hear this tune. Wow.
