If only it could come true… Having worked once at NASA, and seeing how our elected officials like to overthrow the previous elected officials' projects every few years, I don't have a lot of faith that this will actually happen in my lifetime.
Still, it does sprinkle a lot on the imagination. I hope they can work it out…
HOUSTON, Texas – NASA has decided to pursue a base on the Moon. The space agency rolled out today a strategy and rationale for robotic and human exploration of the Moon–determining that a lunar outpost is the best approach to achieve a sustained, human presence on the Moon.
