Kristin Shepard done shot J.R.

Worldwide Pablo and me at South ForkSing along with me now: do do do do duh do do do do do dooo dooo dooo do do dooooooo…

Today Worldwide Pablo and I went to South Fork. Funny, I grew up in Dallas but when WWP wanted to "see" Dallas, all I could think of was JFK and Dallas. So yesterday we saw history, today we saw faux history.

It was surreal walking around inside a house where Dallas was never filmed on the inside, but still feeling connected to the show. Almost every interior shot in the whole series was made in California, but being inside the house they used for the exterior shots made us feel like we'd walk around a corner and run into J.R. Ewing.

I have to admit I was a little disappointed that Bobby Ewing didn't step out of the shower while we were there. I guess they filmed that part in Hollywood, too.

I remember playing the "Dallas" theme song for the Golden Girls at a high school football game. Ahh, the memories…

The only time I ever watched them preform, they laid down on their backs and started waving their legs in the air in some kind of pattern. And all their moms in the stands were so proud…
    *shudders***
    Please lord, not the curse!!

for all the non-conroe-ites… the Golden Girls were the cheerleaders, not Bea Arthur et. al.

Just to offend Mel…lol. I dated a Golden Girl for nearly a year. Not the TV show ones. The High School ones.

I dated people in Conroe that no one ever knew about either. At least not until long afterwards… Rest assured: none of them were Golden Girls.

So thats who shot JR….. I really never saw a reason to dislike someone just because what they decided they wanted to do. O well really just to bring all the skeletons out of the closet I had a good time in high school with alot of different peer groups…Paul did you get the first of my deliveries this morning?

um, hate to break it to you, Tracy, your male and have a pulse..of course you dated a golden girl. Fantasy to all males of hetrosexual persuasion in Conroe High. Ok, undoubtedly fantasy to some of the non-hetrosexual girls, as well.
So no disappointment or offence. Maybe an eyeroll. Possibly an ewww.
    Small shudder.
    EWWWWWW.

Mel I'm shocked. I didn't like to be judged by apperances and tastes so I didnt do it to others either. Even if they were popular. You miss so much by shutting anyone out due to differences. Take that evil glare girl…..lol

While I feel a grave amount of doubt that you (or any 16 year old male) were thinking about her beautiful mind and fine, non-judgemental personality while you were snogging, I will conceed that I DO hate to judge people strictly on appearences. Fair blow, a hit, a hit!
    I can't stand judgemental people…they're wrong!!

I'm many things but I'm not a hypopotomus….no hypercondriac…..wait hypocrit….yea thats it. I really enjoyed crossing lines. When I went goth my senior year I became popular for being different. My old friends shuned me and a new group liked me. Just shows that the world is really strange.

The Golden Girls were NOT cheerleaders. They were the drill team. Nowadays they are called the dance team. What's the diff? I dunno. I always thought they were called Golden cause they were all blonde…
