Visually pleasing and not cluttered. Looks good…

    Thanks!

here are some other comments I received by private email:

    • I'm assuming this ad will not be in color.
    • I like the logo along the top. However, it takes up about 20% of the total ad.  Can it be shrunk just a little?
    • I like two of the three pictures down the left-hand side. It shows one-on-one instruction as well as the whole classroom thing.  Can you add labels to the pictures that say this?
    • I'm assuming that the last picture there is the street sign for the location. However, there's nothing to tell me that.  Is there a picture that shows the Fenixworkshop logo and the address?  Otherwise, I would suggest replacing the picture with a map and operating hours.
    • I don't like the font. There is no distinction between a lower-case "i" and a lower-case "l". So, the word "skills" looks like "skllls" and "iMovie" looks like "lMovle". So, to me, it's just chock full of typos.
    • The "Keep up with the geeks" looks like it would be a tagline. Should it be moved into the area with the logo?
    • Change the introductory paragraph to something like "Fenixworkshop teaches you the computer and web skills you need – whether you're an advanced user or if you've never turned a computer on"… or
      • "… – from basic to advanced" or
      • "… – to get the most out of your investment"
    • Can the list of classes be grouped by the anticipated skill level? For example, a "basic" set (doesn't have to be called "basic" of course) could be:
      • Podcasting
      • Web Safety and Security < --- updated
      • Using Search Engines
      • How to eMail < --- new
    • The background image shows an empty classroom. How about showing it full except for one seat. Then you can point to it and say something like "we've got a seat just for you! Sign up now!" in a little balloon or callout box.
    • In the last box, change "Computer Training" to "Computer Training by Fenixworkshop".
    • Change "Close-in SE Portland" to the address: 119 SE Main Street, Portland
    • To the phone number, add something like "Call for more info" or "Get started today".
    • To the URL, drop the "www". I tested it to make sure, but just plain "fenixworkshop.com" brings up the page just fine.
    • Add an email address.

    Hi Paul:

Third ad looks the best. We think Bret looks just fine, but he worries too much! How can you tell that he is fat anyway!! (asks Maggie)

Like the black lettering; still wonder about the street sign without a Fenixworkshop logo on it.

    Good luck.

I don't know about the "Keep Up With the Geeks" line. Then again, I can't think of anything better at the moment. It just sounds too geeky. Do you need a tag line?
