The "debate" between red states and blue states, or conservatives and liberals, or gay and straight, or [pick your favorite opposing factions here] rages on.
It is 10% "this is what I believe" and 90% "here's what is wrong with what the other side believes." Both sides do that all the time.
If our government, conservative or liberal, spent 90% of their time with "this is what I believe" and only 10% of their time with "this is how what you believe is wrong" then America would be much better place.
We spend all of our time discrediting the other side, "considering the source", and shooting the messenger instead of paying attention to the message.
btw, for the record, I'm a dog person. Anyone who is a cat person is just wrong.

If I'm wrong I dont want to be right…….
My cats, Gus and Fluffy, are making a list of why you are wrong. They will post their message as soon as they get their sources right.
(I only got a cat because they are lower maintainance than a dog.)
I loved cats until I had children. Now I can't take the 'tude. I want a dog, a sweet, comes when I call it, looks guilty when I say "who did this?" dog. After all, the kids will be teenagers in no time, I'm gonna need the backup.
Does this make me bi-animal, converted, or merely confused?
Mel
PS, Go Gus and Fluffy, I love it when you check your sources!
when I was a little kid, the step-monster had a dog named fluffy. of course, it always bit everyone. stupid dog.
I didn't name Fluffy. She was adopted already named. Gus is short for Asparagus–like in "Cats" you know. And Gus is the one who bites, not Fluffy.
Speaking of dogs, Paul–Where's the dog?! Did I miss a post or something or are you still living in a doggy-less home?
(P.S. Extra points to anyone who knows the movie which contained the line "Where's the dog?")
…still dogless…
but the time is coming soon….
