I've always wondered why metal bands always score big with ballads. Extreme had the metal album "Pornografitti" but the only tracks anyone remembers (except Nuno Bettencourt himself) are "hole hearted" and especially "more than words."
I've often wondered why people have different favorites. Like why do I find Green and Blue so appealing, but others label orange or pink their favorite colors. Is the human experience so wide that basic things can be so hugely different?
I've constantly looked at everything through Gay eyes. Why can't I walk through through the The Great Oregon Steam-Up hand in hand with the one I love next to everyone else walking hand in hand with the ones they love?
Sometimes I wonder why the ballads are easier to remember when they are about loss and sadness than when they are about upbeat stuff? Can anyone think of a single ABBA song that's not about breaking up?
Recently I've found myself looking at puppies. Bimbo has been a good dog, and I don't really want to replace her right away when she finally kicks the bucket. But I do find myself linking right into the puppy moves when I see them.
Why does one hurt so much when one's heart is broken?
