Wow! This is so cool!

CNN Reports today that "Japan's Coast Guard dispatched aircraft to survey a 1,100 meter (3,300-foot) high column of steam rising from the Pacific Ocean off a small Japanese island…"

The article goes on to say that it's probably a volcano: "The defense officials who later conducted an aerial survey from a rescue helicopter also found the surface of the water in the area turning red, Shirai said, adding that there might have been an underwater volcanic activity."

Now I don't know about you, but I've seen the movies. Steam rising from the water and "water in the area turning red", especially in the neighborhood of Japan, can only mean one thing!

…And the silly conclusions they're drawing blame it on a volcano…
