It seems to me that the people who are so interested in "Defending Marriage" stepped all over themselves to throw Terri Schiavo's husband's Rights-by-Marriage out the window.
Why is no one taking the bastards in congress to task about passing a bill stripping a heterosexual family of it's guaranteed rights?
These same people who demean loving couples and refuse to grant us Gay's the right to marry apparently don't believe that heterosexual marriage means anything anyway. so what's the point?
It seems like if they were really interested in "Defending Marriage" that they would fight to keep a husband's right to speak for his wife when she is in a vegetative state in the hospital. The people in control of our current government seem only to be interested in their own little space on this planet, and in how much power they can exert over the rest of us.
