R.I.P. Fenixworks

Well, as some of you already know (like those of you who helped me move out of the office today), I have closed Fenixworks. It was a good run, and I learned a lot.

It was not an easy decision to make to close it, but I made it a few weeks back. I’m OK with it. If you are shocked and amazed, remember you are just hearing about it for the first time. I’ve had weeks to get used to the idea and plan my future.

What’s next? At least some of the same thing. I’m still teaching Dreamweaver and FileMaker Pro classes, just to individuals instead of to classrooms. I already have a dreamweaver student lined up for next week. I’ll also be spending more time with my youth group and working things at the church.

But the first thing I’m going to do is take some time off. I’m going to Dallas this weekend (as mentioned in an earlier post) and I think we’re on for that same El Fenix as last time on Saturday at 7:30pm. It’ll be me and Tim (I’m bringing him to meet mom) and Mom. And any of you Texanites or other locals who might be interested in stopping by.

So feel free to post comments here about the end of this era for me, but please don’t ask me how I’m doing. I’m doing fine. Really.
